Dear Hannelore
So much changed in 2007!
Rules
and regulations governing our industry are evolving rapidly. Medical Boards in Indiana and Alabama
are prsently reviewing the Medical Spa Industry in their respective states.
And yet, these are far flung from the metro areas that have dominated the
developing of medical spa facili- ties thus far. Medical spa franchises are being scrutinized and quite a few franchisors have been challenged.
Aesthetic
Medicine has become the domain of the medical doctors. Is this the end of the
laser busines that has existed for many years without incidents? And, what is happening to those medical spas whose primary services are wellness programs?
Will they revert back to the day spas, or become wellness centers at which
CAM treatments will prevail?
So
many concerns.
What are the
potentials?
Healthfully,
 Hannelore Leavy Executive Director
